SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

As Senior Vice President, Jordan Cohen oversees capital raising for L&L Development Group’s growing pipeline of development projects, led by Cape Coral Grove, a vibrant outdoor center that will be animated by a hotel, new residences, and public open spaces as well as entertainment, retail and dining options.

Jordan Cohen brings more than 15 years of experience in the fields of real estate private equity, hedge funds and capital markets to his role. Jordan joined L&L after serving as Chief Investment Officer at TIM, which was later rebranded as Transcendent Electra and Ark Homes for Rent. He facilitated the growth of the firm’s single-family rental platform to over $2B AUM and its build-to-rent arm to more than 5,000 units owned and operated. Additionally, he helped structure and build the BTR platform focusing on the Sunbelt region and Texas, including a pipeline of 3,900 units across 19 projects set to deliver through 2025.

Prior to SFR and BTR vertical, Jordan helped build a real estate private equity fund focused on hospitality assets in excess of $1B AUM with LP partners including Carlyle, Goldman Sachs, Rockpoint et al. Additionally, he was a senior executive in Boston at a real estate private equity firm. He spearheaded efforts on the origination and capital markets side, growing the firm from $600M to over $2B deployed in bridge, mezzanine and equity. Earlier in his career, Jordan gained experience in acquisitions and portfolio management, working with a private REIT/family office. Together with joint venture partners, they deployed in excess of $4.2B alongside JV partners like Cerberus, KIMKO and Lubert Adler, including real estate investments in Albertsons, expanding the portfolio to over 18M square feet of real estate.

Jordan earned his B.A. cum laude in Political Science from Tufts University and has completed additional coursework at Harvard Business School.
