David Levinson

L&L DEVELOPMENT GROUP’S CHAIRMAN

David Levinson serves as Chairman & CEO of L&L Holding Company, which he co-founded with Robert Lapidus in June 2000. L&L Holding Company is a privately owned real estate investment and development company. Mr. Levinson’s responsibilities include the strategic direction of the company, development, acquisitions, marketing and leasing.

Over the course of his illustrious career, Mr. Levinson has received numerous accolades for his work within the real estate industry, as well as in the areas of civic and environmental engagement. Notable recognitions include Developer of the Year by the Greater New York Construction User Council (GNYCUC), REBNY Commercial Management Executive of the Year, and the Environmental Champion Award by the New York League of Conservation Voters. In 2023, The Skyscraper Museum celebrated Mr. Levinson’s vision and success at 425 Park Avenue with the Notables New York – Making New York History Award.

Under Mr. Levinson’s leadership, L&L’s world-class properties have also consistently earned praise across the real estate, design and construction fields. Among its many achievements, 425 Park Avenue has been celebrated with CTBUH Best Tall Building awards, as well as design-focused achievements from MIPIM, NYCxDesign and Commercial Property Executive. Other prominent awards across L&L’s portfolio include BOMA Renovation and Building of the Year, AIA and Sara National Design awards, and MIPIM Future Project recognitions.
